Eminem- Recovery

This was the album where Eminem dropped the accents, connected with some of the best producers in the game which included Just Blaze, Boi-1da, and Dr. Dre. What we got was a bunch of redemption songs, screaming, forced punchlines, and power Pop anthems.

Rick Ross- GFID

This was supposed to take Ross to the next level. Too bad the mixtape was better. This was a good album, but all the singles were bad. Imagine if "Stay Schemin" was the single and it was followed up with "Rich Forever". Instead we got two flopped singles that got his album pushed back into 2012 instead of the 4th quarter 2011 date initially had.

Drake- Thank Me Later

Multiple super producers helmed his debut resulting in a safe album where the sound from So Far Gone was lost in the mix.

This one is looked at as a classic by a lot of people now. Although I always liked this album, it was slept on in real time. Since Pharrell blew up a solo artist, people went back and see it as a masterpiece. To me, it's just a dope album that was overlooked.

I always felt like "You Can Do It Too" would've made a 5/5 Nas song with Pharrell on the hook. Nas in his introspective yet inspirational bag would've been crazy.
