:ohhh: Are these gonna be new beats?
Yeah man. Any previously heard beats usually go on the Rapper's Best Friend series. I'm sure a RBF part 4 will drop this year. This will probably just be 5 or 6 beats and a Bronson joint, since it's only a vinyl. I guess what's the most you usually see on a 12"? 4 tracks on each side?

Did any of ya'll see that Q&A/lecture I posted with Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Khrysis, and Che Pope? Watching Just Blaze now compared to Alc is so crazy. They both were basically in the same spot 10 years ago. Both doing beats for some of the biggest artists in the game. Just Blaze had more hits for sure, but same idea. Now Just Blaze is doing EDM shows and scoring movies while Alc has basically become an indie stoner artist. They're both so far from what they were doing. The music business has changed a lot in 10 years (not to mention people, too).

Big fan of "Holy Tabenacle", personally :pachaha:
Tabernacle's a Hebrew word, right? Might be another Israeli sample.

There's not as much money or notoriety in B-Sides and album cuts anymore, I'd assume? Like, who is the go-to street single guy in the game for 2015?

Oh yeah. Huge reason. Pretty sure Just was probably clearing 6 figures a beat for major label releases. Kanye said he tried to sell Talib Kweli's Get By beat to Mariah Carey for like 70k. Album budgets were crazy.

As a hip-hop fan I wish Just Blaze had stuck to producing whole albums. He killed it with Saigon and he tried for Jay Elec, but I think since Jay Elec was obviously difficult and Saigon's album came out 5-6 years late that maybe he just didn't feel like it anymore. he launched that For Knocks label but it never had any albums come out of it.

The go to street single guy in 2015? Damn. I dunno. It was DJ Premier in the late 90's and early 00's and then it shifted to Alchemist, but he said he's tired of that whole process of shopping beats and dealing with labels and paperwork. 9th Wonder was kinda that guy for a little bit too.

I don't even feel like street singles are much of a thing anymore. :mjcry:

I might say Jake One. Cardiak? Nottz? Sid Roams has barely any output, but those guys are a good choice. Havoc. I don't know a ton of newer producers.
