I found a damn bottle of vodka by the cleaning supplies in my moms crib.

I said on Saturday "I'm trying to cut down"

She opens up 3 bottles of wine :mjlol:

That was enough for me to realize I gotta quit.

The question is, what do I tell my mom. I dont want to be like "Mom you have a problem with alcohol"

Its a quarantine and I dont feel like taking on that responsiblilty:yeshrug:

Its hard enough to quit by myself. Now I gotta tell the entire household "The reason Mom has been in such a good mood is because she been drinking her ass off this whole quarantine" :russ:

Hell no. All I can do is quit myself, and strongly imply to my mom that she should do the same :yeshrug:

The problem with addiction is the body becomes convinced the substance is essential. No different from drinking water or eating food.

You could tell her to cut down under the guise of making the booze last longer because theres no telling whether the supply will shrink as distilleries start focusing more on making alcohol for disinfectants and hand sanitizers.

Me and my mom have the same kind of addiction. It was very slick, we could always take off a couple weeks or a month. But ever since this covid shyt we been saying fukk it.

But I just quit smoking a week. Now Im inclined to give alcohol the same treatment :yeshrug:

And Im definitely telling my mom to do the same thing

Staying far away from it, got too many alcoholics or former ones in my fam

both grandfathers, several uncles, several cousins :francis:
I will never stay too far from it.

Because alcohol is social currency.

Getting laid, closing business deals :yeshrug:

Mostly getting laid. I got a homie who aint never drink and he gets no p*ssy :yeshrug:

So I'll quit 2 weeks. Get off of the dependancy. And get back to drinking on special occassions.

Don’t get me wrong. If I got a shorty over I’ll knock back a shot or two/ pour us some wine or if I’m chilling with pops watching a game I’ll have a beer. I never buy alcohol to drink solo.

Either someone offers or I buy it to be hospitable

not too mention any type of alcohol makes my stomach bubble like a mf
