Just watching the first episode and I’m already annoyed just cause this white female chief is saying shyt that those types truly do in real life when it comes to Black victims.

The music selection and placement in this show is atrocious. With that said the acting on this has been great to help this weak disjointed script. Aldis Hodge, Temu Jonathan Majors breh & Special Agent PAWG are killing it.

I’m on the last episode. I REALLY wanted to love this series but it’s all over the place. Off the top of my head
-There’s no need for a B plot. There was enough going on trying to stop the serial killer. The fact Cross has some deranged nikka (who conveniently takes 2-3 episode breaks) fukkin with his family is too much.
-His grandma rollin up on the old detective and demanding information was
-Matter of fact, I didn’t care about his family at all. I didn’t care about his wife, nana mama, or the problems his kids have at school. That’s one thing I love about Jack Reacher, it’s just him and his occasional love interest. No family holding him back.
-I do like Aldis as Cross. I wish him and Old Spice guy didn’t have that unnecessary beef because they made a good team.
I’ll add more when it comes to me.

Read basically every Alex Cross novel growing up and i’ll say, this was very good for only 8 episodes.
Hated that they casted Kyle Craig as a woman

Finishing up the 5th episode. This is very well casted, cause the white people consistently white people on here.
Started this a while ago and dropped after the second ep, to wait for the season to finish it was very entertaining some tropes and shyt , but we got black excellence and some chocolate and vanilla itty bitty's 
been waiting to see them white girl titties since "supernatural" she has aged real well. Some good twists in the mix.i started suspecting the piano teacher after the way she was serving big mama them shots but I didn't see that whole thing coming.
Overall it had a great main message of getting counseling through grief so many of us don't deal with it that way and choose to trust "friends" with our deep problems in this world being a man specially a Black one it's tough to show vulnerability and not get any flack or not get used or disrespected in the future. It's always best to vent to a professional when dealing with a deep trauma like grief. I give this a 8/10. Loved the portrayal of DC down to the NB's. Down to local legend "slim Charles" performing.
