And if you took the fighting out of the game, what would you have? Hockey....the fighting is obsolete
I hear ya, but your response is that of a person who doesn't watch hockey. Then you're using invisible logic and expecting it to stick.
When You actually attend a hockey game is when you'll realize you never knew what hockey truly is. It's two gangs trying to get a puck into the net. The physicality of hockey is lost to people who don't follow. In WWE they throw people into the ropes then hit them with vicious clothesline/sickle. Hockey is just like that except they use their entire body instead of an arm. They check each other (hit with sticks) thru have enforcers which is a player with nice hands to fukk up other players who violate. Welcome to hockey my nikka, I'm not exaggerating anything
it actually is a biproduct of racism it just isn't all thought-out like that.
When White people see other White people fighting, they assume there is a reason and justify it. If two country white guys get on a fight in the streets, they surely had a good reason and police tell them to go home and sleep it off. If two white kids get in a fight in school, well boys will be boys. If hockey players are gonna fight, well it's a rough game.
When White people see Black people fight, they assume that the Black man is dangerous or animal-like and needs to be controlled. Thus a Black man who fights gets charged with assault, or might even get shot on the spot. Two black boys fighting in school will be dragged out by an officer in cuffs and may get expelled if not charged with a crime. And if you have the slightest hint of fighting by a Black man in a sport, it is an automatic ejection and likely a long suspension, not a five-minute penalty.
True, in reality that works out better for Black people in this situation, cause less fighting in sports is a GOOD thing. But it is still a product of White racism, a side effect of the fact that they see Black people as different than they see White people. And it works out horrendously for Black people in the justice system, in the schools, and in "Stand Your Ground" states.
I hear ya, and you're reaching imo

You've combined hockey with Trayvon Martin but it's not related. Yes there is racism in the world but the issue here is you indirectly bowing to white supremacy. You say they think we'll kill each other but reality is everyone follows the and rules in other sports. Now everything isn't equal, they still will believe a black qb isn't as good as a white boy, and they'll take later hits without penalties but a dirty player will get treated as such regardless of race. America will allow them to express themselves however but that's a different topic...
Fighting in school, boys will be boys you say. I don't know where you grew up, I grew up in northern Virginia about a 10min drive from George Washington's plantation. Also 10 min away from the alt right headquarters in old town Alexandria which was voted best city in America recently (a year ago) so living in a racist commonwealth I can tell you at school if you fight you get 3 days regardless of race. You also mentioned stand your ground.
Nobody is saying America isn't racist at all but you're trying to link that to hockey which isn't known anywhere as "America's sport" but is a sport that started with Black People up in Canada hundreds of years ago. The sport is straight, there are racist people in the world...deal with it
Don't claim victim because you end up
sounding like a bytch. Here, this is the shyt alot of you THOUGHT didn't exist...
