Because that whole "brass ring" thing is rubbish. It's ironic the ONLY 3 he mentioned for the brass ring are the Shield members who they clearly brought in and put on the fast track. I mean when you know the company is behind you 100% it's not hard to "reach for the brass ring"
It's when you reach for it and then Vince moves it right when you're about to grab it

Sorry typo I meant aren't. Yea its complete bullshyt. Guys in Riley's postion honestly should just continue to get checks. Riley has a nice jig as a commentator and doesn't have to beat his body up like others. Just stay off twitter and don't take Vince's words literally. They all saw what happened to Ryder
yeah, he's actually a bright spot on 2nd rank commentator list and he's good on the Network. In NXT he shined on the mic as well. he should just improve at that b/c there's longevity there. And once Vince puts the headset on you, you're wrestling career is pretty much done.
