I agree with all that, I just don't think he's a garbage QB. I think he plays Reid-style West coast dink and dunk and I don't think he can sustain winning games for a team. I just don't think he *cant* win playoffs games.

Give him a historical defense and he'll probably win you a title, otherwise he's just a placeholder until you find someone better.

If KC's ownership actually cared about competing for a Super Bowl, Alex Smith would not be their starting QB next season. This is another place where Tony Romo would be a godsend and they should definitely make a push for him in the next few months.
