Don’t bother

Criticize is bad. The breh can still sing but the tones are off and his voice isn’t as smooth as before. Wish he could make some new hits that fit his current voice.

breh Alexander could’ve been a top five 80s R&B singer and still eating to this day. He fukked it off with the drug shyt.

At a time when dudes weren’t super masculine back then, the only brehs holding it downs back with “nice” songs about getting p*ssy and being romantic were him and Rick James. He wasn’t dancing all over the place and rapping like Bobby Brown and dudes like Johnny Gill were up and coming but they were his sons. The Al B Sures and Christopher Williams dudes didn’t have staying power and the DeBarge type cats looked (and sounded soft).

Prince was Prince. You count touch him and everyone knew Luther was gay. Babyface didn’t pop off til the 90s

Alexander had access to prime Jimmy and and Terry and basically has his own lane before New Jack tripped up a lot of them 80s soul singers who needed to switch their shyt up quickly because Teddy Riley was blessing them new singers who didn’t have vocal power but mad dance music with R&B sprinkled on it.

breh he could’ve been wayyyyyyy bigger than he was. Look at the video for Criticize. Nothing but bad bytches and him just enjoying himself. Robert Palmer stole his whole swag with these videos

The good old days when southside Minneapolis was churning out hits. Never really understood why we couldn't produce artists that popped anymore after that. Only ones we had was Next and then kinda sorta on some level Lizzo

who the fukk allowed this :hhh:

The quality is way better. The “If You Were Here Tonight” beat is legendary and it sounds way better/clear on this remake. It’s like it’s more distinct or something.
:wow:

The vocals are atrocious. Almost makes it unlistenable. He’s better off having someone else sing on it and paying homage to him. He sounds HORRIBLE!
:sadcam:

motherfukkas couldn’t live up to Prince, Jimmy and Terry. That 80s Minnesota sound still cranks and should’ve popped thru the 90s
