Storm doesn't need a solo movie. Some characters are just better on a team and she is one of them. She's already arguably Marvels most famous female superhero other than She Hulk. They had Storm fighting Wonder Woman in DC vs Marvel for a reason.

even BP didnt really have his own movie. the movie was barely about him and pretty much about every woman in his life and the villain. t'challa was outshined and boring in comparison. the only reason he has "his own" movie is because he brings a whole new set of characters and storylines with him. storm is a similarly boring personality on screen but does not bring her own set of characters and storylines since the x-men need no introduction

A Storm centric storyline would be good but only if it includes the morlocks / skinhead transformation period and to do that you would 1. need a far better actress and 2. a few films to set up her character.
