I love the kevetching on the right from her election.
Democratic consultants and establishment set are panicking and saying "OMG this is what I fear most. Look how many times she was mentioned on fox. This is bad!".
While us, normal everyday voters and citizens love the fear of God her election puts in these people and only feel more empowered to vote for people like this

Capitol Hill is also not diverse. Lots of white people.

Medicare For All - Mercatus Study puts it at $3 trillion per year. Currently, we spend $1.5 trillion of taxpayer money for healthcare right now (Medicaid, Medicare, VA, ACA Subsidies, CHIP). Corporations and businesses are spending $1.5 trillion right now on premiums. Probably more, tbh
So its all about re-allocating what we're spending into a single payer and then using the government's power to negotiate and bring costs down to providers. Mass movement vs. the entrenched power is the only way to make it happen.ICE costs only $5 billion a year...So abolishing it nets you that..
GREEN NEW DEAL... would be a huge thing. $500-$700 billion a year or 3% of GDP is estimates of per year spending needed to invest and have millions of jobs for people to change our energy sources. Why not deficit spend

Probably the same way we found to fund a multi trillion dollars war and constantly feed billions into our military, and into other countries like Israel. Or maybe the billions we remove from revenue streams to give tax cuts to the wealthiest and corporations .
I'm sure the money can be found somehow.
Also don't forget the billions of dollars our president rather use to fund a useless wall.
