look man, i could give a f about him pleading his case saying he got f'd over, his career wasn't where it needed to be etc. The point is, he wasn't gonna get these OPPORTUNITIES if NELLY didn't blow up. He needed someone from the crew to blow up cuz respectfully HE WASN'T GONNA DO THAT on his own. Like he said nobody wanted the group they wanted NELLY. Now Nelly did FIGHT to get the group a deal or at least be part of the deal, that's something you gotta give Nelly till the end, don't give a f how it came about, it HAPPENED. Now Ali says he was the brains of the group, that he had all the ideas and concepts, cool. My dude, you had 3 OPPORTUNITIES ONCE you were on! The group album, which was his chance to SHINE. Nope, Murph Lee took that chance and got the most of it. The solo album he was gifted, and i say this in the nicest way cuz the label didn't have to honor Nelly's wishes, but they got the 3rd OPTION his lil solo album 
and guess what he did with it? decided to put out trash and not take advantage of all the resources that the label had. He keeps on blaming Nelly not being there for the sessions, mf, Nelly is on a few records on ya project, you want him to hold your hand all the way through and be on every hook?? He included you on Batter up, air force ones, the group project, all these mf hits and you still crying for him to be there?? EVEN AFTER YOUR ALBUM FLOPPED Nelly was nice enough to put you on one of his BIGGEST JOINTS of his career with GRILLZ. HE AINT HAVE TO DO THAT!!! BUT He still looking out!! 
and to give your career a second LIFE, Ali got with GIP to make a duo project and even then Nelly was on the second single and on a few other joints.
WHAT MORE DO YOU F*CKIN WANT and he's gotten wayyyyy more opportunities than what anyone deserves. Like chance after chance to make something out of his situation.
Some mfs blame everyone but themselves when it comes to failure and ALI is PRIME EXAMPLE of this. For lil bro to look out for me countless times, i would've been happy with just one record and being in the history books as a footnote instead of being a nobody that never had a shot

I believe he helped write, but not to the extent that this nikka claiming lol. Nelly said out of his own mouth that the entire group wrote the Country Grammar single & the entire first verse is Ali. It don't make Nelly any less of an artist either.
The LOX said they've given each other entire verses before. It's part of being in a group.
