Whenever a boxer has fought a martial artist they got washed from the stories my older brother told me.

I would give the nod to Ali because, I don't think Bruce would be able to hurt him honesty it's weight classes for a reason:manny:

Exactly what I would say.

Boxing is a weaker martial art compared to almost any other one (don't get mad at me, this is what true martial artists say).

But 80lbs means something, and you cant just ignore it.

Bruce Lee wasn't a grappler or even a fighter with serious leg kicks in his arsenal. What was he going to do to make up for the size and power of Ali? Muhammad would have gotten him off the jab alone.

Yall sound stupid. Ali was a BOXER known for the "rope a dope" shyt. He got beat up until the other person tired out.

Bruce lee trained most of his life in different martial arts. He might be small but he was strong as fukk. His stamina was ridiculous. His hands deadly and not just from punching.

Bruce lee would wash ali bc hes trained to use his entire body to fight. Ali gonna throw punches. Kick him in his tiny legs and hes done after ground and pound or submission hold.

Yall must not know about the japanese wrestler that almost had ali leg amputated. Imma leave this here

Edit: posting facts is aparantly frowned upon on this site so yall do what yall do. Smh at nikkas getting warning points for facts
Have you seen that fight at all? If I remember correctly the wrestler dude laid on his back and kicked at Ali's legs the whole time :pachaha:

I can't believe you tried to use that shyt as evidence :dead:

why would bruce even throw a punch against the greatest boxer? you think bruce is suicidal? :dahell:

only thing bruce can do in this fight is to kick :mindblown:

That foe is similar height. Ali is 8 inches taller, not a southpaw and is not stationary like that stiff. If he blocks that kick with his jab hand he will be able to land a straight right hand right down the middle. And remember, Ali is 100 pounds heavier than Bruce. The punch would do huge damage

From what i've seen in his spars.

He had everything in his arsenal. I know for a fact he had a ground game and he definitely had leg kicks especially later on in his career. MMA didnt really exist at the time so he was the only one doing it..so ts not like he needed to bust that out in every sparring session against a traditional martial artist.

N1ggaz actin like a lil dude wouldn't stand a chance. Again, Ali wasn't use to defending kicks. Frazier had him pissin blood off body shots, Im sure Bruce kicks harder than Frazier hit. In these scenarios I will always favor the martial artist .Boxers are just too 1 dimensional.

Lee could kick a 700 lb. bag and 'fold it.' His punch measured at 1200 psi. Mike Tyson measured at 900 psi. Lee could beat a power lifter (dead lift 700 lb) at arm-wrestling. He could lock out a 120 lb. barbell straight out. Do one armed push ups with 210 lb guy sitting on his back

8. He Was Too Strong For Regular Heavy Bags

In his time, Lee used a multitude of custom-built exercise machines that were usually created just for him by a close friend, James Lee. Some of them were made due to requests from Lee himself; others were built out of sheer necessity. Lee’s heavy bag is an example of the latter.

Coming from an unknown source, Lee’s custom heavy bag literally taunted others with its immense size. Normal heavy bags clock in at around 70 pounds, with some clocking in at a much meatier 150. Lee’s weighed THREE-HUNDRED POUNDS. And it was filled with friggin’ metal. Not because he was showing off, but because he literally couldn’t use a lighter, non-metallic one without breaking it. There are conflicted, and often confused, stories that claim Lee was able to kick a heavy bag clear through the ceiling. Though he may not have ever done that, he did give a guy whiplash by kicking one too hard. Seriously.

Size doesn't mean anything. I've knocked down dudes twice my size. In a regulation boxing match i'm sure Ali would win but not in the street.Pounds per Square Inch is a real thing, the average man can generate enough force to break a knee with a kick...imagine would bruce lee could do..I'm sure he would break ali's ribs or severly damage his arms if he tried to block. Ali wouldn't stand a chance.

bruce lee...was an actor:comeon:

ali would have given him cte off one fight

he was an actor who pioneered MMA :sas1:

and he devoted his life to craft his skills :sas2:

we ain't talkin about tom cruise here :comeon:

having said all that ali would be just too big for bruce lee.

but let's not act like bruce will just stand there and take a punch. his only fighting chance is to break ali's leg first and kick his core, so ali won't be able to punch

Bruce was supposedly in a triad gang as a teenager and got into a lot of trouble for fighting all the time before he was an actor. He would constantly be tested by people on the street when he was filming movies in Hong Kong and had to put hands on people. If he was just an actor he would not have been personally hired to train champion Kickboxers and Karate Tournament fighters of his era.
