Aliens is not the goat action flick.
There is a difference.
Aliens is the goat creature feature.
That ups thee ante because the action and gun play is blockbuster hof fye.
That the soundeffects.
to just guns burst'n is arguably.
the goat soundeffect for iconic shell based military op weapons in any motion picture.
or film based medium ever.

Well for me its the best action movie ever. Marines mixed with aliens. shyt was a match made in heaven. Name a better action flick.

The issue with films.
Is they should be labeled accurrately.
So they are rated properly and then given stars via those genres.
A lot of movies have poor ratings by pretentious critics[not you, you are doing great]
All because of those films not being propeely rated. Films to large of procurement. To be rated wrong and then rated against the wrong genre.
now domestically cameron is the gawd. I even started this thread to speak more on aliens. As i love the film. Yet it should have a close to four star rating. The director origin of newt cut should have four stars solidly. Yet since films are not properly labeled in genre. Aliens is not propeely given the respect it deserves critically and originally.
so again. Films should be rated properly by genre.

Aliens is tricky because its:
Action
Sci fi action
And sci fi horror.
It's several genres. But I think the action outweighs everything else so for me its a pure action film and could be compared to all action films like Die Hard, Hard Boiled, T2 etc

As horror can encompass and will encompass anything from urban realism to sci fi to creature feature. Plus should be labeled accurratelym. As the procurement of horror is atypically the most profitable in the film genre.
Just like rap is rhe most profitable genre in music. Yet horrorcore has rhe highest uoside and largest veil of content. Hence triple six being rhe best producer's of all time. Where they have the all time best cross genre production in industrial bulk and influence.
