Just got done watching the ep from last week.

Any scene were Prodigy/Boy Kavalier shows incompetence and my suspension of disbelief is tested I remind myself Elon Musk exists in the real world.

As far as the ep itself sh*t was cool and I was pretty :ld: on the fly creature until I seen a short interview with Noah Hawley where he explained it only eats inorganic material. It's a major threat to cyborgs/hybrids/synths but completely harmless to humans.

Lastly, I don't know how long this show will go on....it's ratings have been through the roof pretty consistently....but I got the vibe (and I hope I'm right) that Wendy will eventually become a villain in this series. Her conversation with Dame Sylvia definitely had some villainous undertones.

Nah the hatch was just messed up. Which itself wouldn't be an issue but Tootles not knowing his own strength broke it completely off.

They didn't explain but I assume whatever the flies room was made of was immune to it's acid.

Ok that makes sense because i was like wtf

I coulda swore there was like some metal on plate that it was eating and was like “why wouod they lock it in a metal cage” and when he busted the door off i assumed it was because of the bug acid weakening it or something.

I understood all that as it happened. But my only question is why Tootles didn’t ant least try and defend himself when he should know they want to eat his ass

You’re strong and fast as fukk, start karate chopping these shyts, not let them land on you like a pet dove :snoop:

You’re more valuable than that specimen

Yeah, definitely.

Considering the supposed potential intelligence that the hybrids are supposed to have he went out like a sucker

I mentioned that their potential isn't being anywhere near fully utilised, even though they're kids they really should be on some tactical, philosophical mastery shyt

They mentioned these hybrids lasting 1,000+ years in the latest ep.

They've only been active one week, and the only way the process currently works is using children.

So they don't have any combat or tactical training, and they're nowhere near their full potential in general.

Also keep in mind Kavalier sent them on a suicide mission basically because he was bored.

And then on top of that, Kirsh is undermining him behind the scenes. Tootles handled that situation poorly but he never should've been alone with the creatures in the first place.

If Yutani had this technology I guarantee those kids would be beasts. Kavalier is an immature idiot and his top goon can't be trusted.

True that, easy to forget its been so little time since they've been transformed.

Hopefully they explore that much more in season 2 as that was something that I was very interested in with this the hybrid concept

Makes sense to transition to it as well considering they're essentially children too, wonder how many will be left standing by end of the season.

Kavalier threw them kids in the bushes the minute they found those 5 aliens on that ship. Those kids are swords but the aliens are lightsabers.

There is zero development happening with them outside of the two(now one) scientists. Kavalier doesn't even see them as people. Reason why the male scientist said no to the order is because they were talking about basically a child like rebooting your computer when it has the blue screen.

There’s also the boy kavalier’s youthful arrogance and inexperience. He’s been perfectly believable to me

Were you expecting this nikka waiting at the door every time they need to go in the lab?!

Yes. Don’t play dumb. You got dangerous specimens and human access off limits yet no security and everyone has the mf code for access apparently. How difficult is it to have security personnel at access points, you know, like a real secure research facility
