Idk.. I’m just more excited that they are finally doing shyt with the Alien/Predator franchises that isn’t a complete fukkup.

Thing is it feels like this is a complete fukkup because of the ending.

Foundation was one. The Expanse was another. Invasion, etc.

I watch/ed all of these and the difference is those shows wasnt this fukked up compared to Alien Earth imo. They were slow(especially the Expanse) but they had a clear direction and most importantly stuck to what the core of the show was. With this it feels like 2 different shows are happening on top of the fact that what they presented, full storywise, is trash imo. That's how bad the last two eps were to me. I also dont have some fondness of the franchiseand looking at it with a different lense than you maybe. Im just looking at it as a scifi show since I love them. Im neutral of Alien as a franchise.

I see your point. I am biased because of my interest in the franchise (more so after learning more about it) but if you are a casual watcher and lover of sci-fi, I understand.

it dead ass feels like this was another show and then the Xenomorphs were suddenly added in at the 11th hour.

If you take the Xenos out or replace them with another type of alien, literally nothing about the story changes or is altered in any way.

It's like the Temu version of Westworld combined with hamfisted Peter Pan allegories, with random aliens and a Xeno or two thrown in for good measure.

Yeah like I said in another post this season was basically Westworld season 1 and it even ended the same way.

Wendy is even like Delores.

This show is really about transhumanism

Just binged. I enjoyed it up until the last 2 episodes. Writing really fell apart at the end and they should've let Wendy brither get taken by Eye spy (best character in the season) Morrow, Kirsh, were interesting but I felt the writing dropped the ball on them hard at the end. Wendy being able to control the entire island was far too OP. Her being able to pick up the frequency and speak with the alien was actually pretty consistent.

Not sure how season 2 will go but the cast including the"kids" needs to be thinned out.

But yeah, this is what theyre supposed to look like. They’re black and it usually be dark in the movies when they are around, but I always thought they were translucent-ish.


I also know there are different colors/versions. They try to put a different version in every movie/show now. They also take on characteristics and intelligential traits from whatever host too.

Like Prometheus (or Covenant, I forget) was confusing as fukk to people because they gutted most of the original story because of how it would’ve affected Evangelistic Christians and creation theory/Religion.


Basically, humans were created by Engineers who seeded multiple planets and the Engineers worshiped an Alpha Xenomorph. The Engineer actually had a long ass monologue in the original Prometheus movie that they scrapped where dude was basically snapping on humans.

They cut it because imo, there’s probably some truth to it IRL.

They keep changing shyt so it confuses the audiences and turns off the casual viewer because shyt would make zero sense UNLESS they told the original stories. I was hoping this show and Romulus would stop that trend


So imo, It started off well and fizzed out in the end but it’s probably more studio politics that caused it. I will give it one more season (if there even is another) but I usually give a series 2 seasons before I completely bush it or not. The first seasons on most shows are usually up and down.

Man the OG John Sphaits script wrote for Prometheus made perfect sense and was gonna be amazing but Ridley Scott had to bring in Lindelof and fukked everything up. They changed so much shyt due to them getting blow back from the studio we ended up getting what we got.

Both Watchmen and Leftovers are great shows imo. Maybe the other writers on the show kept him in line, but those were his creations/he was the main writer on those shows

I feel I read about this before I wish they would've stuck to it. It's a gotdamn movie spinoff of another movie 30+ years ago

the episode ending music for this is just absolutely atrocious, every time
