I liked Colonial Marines somewhat, a interesting twist. This looks to follow the original one Alien plan, where it hides in vents. Although I don't know why it has to be Ripley's kid, just so they have to retcon the story again.

Nah, its one and done even with the yet to be included DLC's. I just want a good story, and rent it via Gamefly.

It's ok but it is definitely overhyped. I mean when it first came our it was a breath of fresh air but since its release other games have done it better (granted this game definitely had an influence). But it has very restrictive game design that supposedly is to increase tension and fear but for me it just led to frustration and boredom. It has some jump scares but they are few and far between and the enemy becomes pretty mechanical after a while. Basically if you wanna scare yourself just play slender man, it's essentially the same gimmick but you will save yourself a lot of time instead if slugging your way through a tedious castle with no map looking for shyt.

I don't agree with the dude above. Slenderman is a cheap indie game. Amnesia is worth a play just based off its story. It will scare you, and not just using cheap jump scares....but with tension, atmosphere, and audio. The main monsters in the game admittedly do look corny after a while but you won't want to ever see one while playing. Definitely give it a shot.
