I had the movie on my computer for quite some time but only watched the first 10 minutes. Is it bad?

I skipped out for a long time because it looked like an unnecessary quasi-remake of Alien. But it's good. Dare I say really good.

I made the mistake of watching this movie during the daytime 
TV glare from the sun meant I couldn't see shyt for a good portion of the movie

Strange that Alvarez doesn't want to direct it. I guess he has an original film he'd rather do. Would be interesting if they don't find anyone and Ridley decides to do it.

This damn movie. So they would’ve been ok if they had just left the Asian girl to die.
After all that trouble— that dumb ass girl injected herself with that shyt without knowing what the true effects were. Would’ve been aight if she just dragged her ass there and got into a cryo pod.
And then it ALSO would’ve be aight if ol girl just left the pregnant girl in the damn pod. Isn’t there a way to (sadly) humanely end whoever might be in the pod if necessary? Could’ve stopped the drama that way too.
All these emotions overriding common sense.

The original Alien/Alien 2 fuuuuuukked me up as a kid; Prometheus was a little too much for me too.
But I guess I’m not as scary anymore because I definitely rocked with this.
