there's so many stars and planets out there, I think it's a certainty that life exists elsewhere. but at the same time, the distances are so vast, it's probably very rare for a civilization to advance to the point where it can travel between habitable planets.

I've never seen anything to make me believe in aliens, I think they exist, but I see no real evidence that they've been here. cool video tho

What makes you say that? Our universe is 13.5 billion years old. Its not hard to believe another civilization much much older and more technologically advanced than us exists that can travel speeds and distances we cant even begin to imagine yet.

Maybe but science hasn't confirmed that it is possible. Lets be real, once we leave this planet, we are going to be that alien race that goes planet to planet draining it of it's resources before moving on to the next. Look at Earth and what we are doing, it's in our DNA. We'd rather accuse some fairytale Alien race of coming here and doing it to use to make us feel better about our destructive behavior.
