its No shade to Kyian and Alijah but at my job these cats were propped up to spite Bronny. Hell I had dudes up in my grill saying Bryce was waaayyy better than Bronny. It’s crazy DJ Wagner might not even be better when I said Bronny was better than him too lol

if You not a generational type prospect there is very real possibility of you flopping when going to the next level

I understand Gil’s logic

However, the car wreck and injury, it’s best to be cautious. That’s what I’m referring to. I would not let my son play until the next year.

Additionally, the whole “let’s get him in the league and we’ll figure it out” process is silly to me when you can try to go high in the draft the following year.
The '27 draft is also projected to be very weak and on the level of of '24, there's no need to rush it on their end. Now if he comes back and is very inefficient again and showing the same flaws then that's on his development and he's probably not the prospect that Gil thinks he is.

Not one of them may actually stick in the league and still Bronny is not better then any of them

Gil claims owners care about age more than anything, younger you get drafted, the more years of extra value you have just based on that + potential

I understand his whole philosophy.

His son is 18. Entering the draft at 19 is still a great age and fits the ideal age of a first rounder.

His son has talent. There’s gotta be more at this point than just being happy to get there. Going to the right situation really matters.
