Microsoft is doing everything they can to try and win 2 months in a row I see.
Target had 10% off everything. I think Amazon did this on their own to match that.
think imma go for that 2TB,
The 2TB is worthless because the hard drive in it is so slow. You can plug up an external USB 3.0 drive and get faster load times.

I just got the 500GB and I plug up a portable external to it. The way I see it why should I spend more on their slower hard drive when I'll just use the external because USB 3.0 can get better speeds than the outdated SATA II they use in the Xbox One.
I'm wondering that too. Also, for anybody who has one, how the kinect work on it? I'm thinking about getting one so I can play some games with my kids.
You need to register a Kinect, an original Xbox One, and the Xbox One S to your account then go into a chat with Microsoft if you want the free Kinect adapter. If you have to buy the adapter I think it's $39.99. The Xbox One S doesn't have the Kinect port on it so it needs external power from that adapter.

Get the 500GB model and then connect an external drive. I would recommend an SSHD that can be had for about $80-$90 and load things much faster.

So it actually does load faster if you do an external setup? I thought that was only possible if you put an SSD in

I understand you was talking about the 2 TB model but would you predict the same effect on a 500GB?

i'd just get the OG fat xbox one since you missed the sale, no point in paying $400 for something you won't play too often unless you want that updated netflix streaming

Get the old model unless you want a 4K Blu-Ray player.

$190 for a new Xbox one is pretty good. Ironically you just missed a great deal on newegg that included madden 17.
