Last year WC finalists meet again in the first round setting up a great early playoff matchup. Lakers (47-35) lead by Bron held off the Pels to secure the 7th seed to set up a match with the defending NBA champs & 2nd seed, the Denver Nuggets (57-25). Nuggets have the edge over LA as they swept the season series along with sweeping them in last year's WCF.
