There's nothing inherently wrong with liberalism or conservatism. In fact, we need a balance of both ideologies.

Vulnerable people like women, children, and the elderly should be taken care of by the rest of society. But when white women, able bodied gay men and women, and lazy straight men who think they're entitled to a life of leisure keep trying to redefine who is vulnerable to get free stuff, that's when people don't really rock with it.

As far as conservatism, everyone holding their own nuts (or ovaries) isn't exactly hate, more so treating adults like actual adults. But refusing to even acknowledge the very real institutional barriers placed in front of some people and actually backed by the government makes the message seem mean spirited and crass.

In short, you need to with the blind loyalty to one set of ideas and learn to think for yourself.

Politics are rapidly replacing religion in the number of people being radicalized. People want to nail "others" to the cross for every perceived infraction but turn a blind eye to the fukkery of their "side".

This country can never truly be great until people start acting like adults instead of tribal idiots and learn to make compromises and concessions.

Until then we'll just continue to rotate parties with each subsequent president trying to undo the policies of the previous. And people like the OP becoming so stubborn and convinced that their way is the only way, that they become more and more extreme and clashes like oregon and Charlottesville become more and more commonplace.

I strongly oppose this, conservatism at its root is to prevent progress in society and in america it is to prevent any one not white straight and a man from having any sort of good living standards and a decent enviroment. The way twitter works, your feed is gonna show you what you want to see. That's why it's so dangerous. Nuanced common sense posts don't get a million retweets. People like you, on both sides, are incentivizing people to post their worst and most inflammatory hot takes to get attention. Most of that attention is people being outraged.

I would agree Republicans are no friends overall of black concerns.
Democrats will address and supporrt black concerns, including class related ones.

At the same time some Dem values like reducing guns or putting Fruitopians in libraries are things a lot of black folks don't agree with, and Republicans obviously do too.

So it's a tight rope to watch.....Conservative Republicans aren't necessarily giving a flying fuuck about black concerns, but they may have over arching values that alot of blacks would agred. Liberal Democrats will trumpet black concerns, but some of the overarching issues may be problematic for a lot of black folks.
