I'm late to the party, so please excuse my ignorance. I just sold my first few items on EBAY and this shyt is kind of addictive I'm looking for some general tips on saving money, listing items, shipping options, good tactics, do's and don't etc...

Also, the items I sold were Music Production equipment that i was selling anyway in order to upgrade. But now I don't have anything else to sell. Not asking for anyone to reveal their whole model, but can you guys point me in the right direction for wholesaling or reselling. I have no idea where to start. I thought about reselling clothes from the thrift store. I need some ideas man.

I don't get your Prime question, can you please clarify a bit? Prime has nothing to do with you selling on Amazon. If you are referring to is it worth having your items "Prime" aka fulfilled by Amazon, it depends, but for the most part I think it's the way to go.

I don't deal with small money items, if you sell stuff under $35 I'd recommend being a high volume seller. Yes, my middleman/drop shipping business is my main business. I am not accepting any new purse sellers or selling my purse supplier. I only have my sunglasses supplier for sale, for 1k. I will be dropshipping/middle man these items in the future as well and when I do, the supplier won't be for sale anymore.

I don't deal with public suppliers/distributors/wholesalers. If you interested in that, here is a list I put together a while ago, FREE:

In regards to the Prime question, I didn't ask about Amazon. I'm strictly on EBAY for now. Breh, Good looking on the list man. I'm about to do some research. Once I get rolling I'll probably come back and pick your brain more. This is exactly what I was asking for, some resources to point me in the right direction.

Can you elaborate on how you got into sunglasses. Were you seeking those out or did it just kind of happen. Like were you selling multiple items at first and found those to be most profitable? I'm just trying to get a feel of what actually sells out there. I figured I could pic one or two items, then try to find a solid connect.

The wholesale market is so oversturated that it is pretty pointless to get into it. Unless you have an item you can get for real cheap and also if it helps if it's a niche product.

Buy a few things and sell smaller things to get up your feedback.

Make sure you send items ASAP and create an account for bulk shipping.

Just remember that ebay ALWAYS sides with the buyer, not the seller. If the buyer says your item wasn't as described u will be forced to refund them or else ebay will refund them and make u reimburse them. Plus ebay takes like 20 percent of ur selling price plus their listing fees. I still sell on there particularly electronics but I'd prefer a more seller friendly site

Find a niche breh or a product that you have easy access to and just hustle that bytch

Go to auctions, yard/estate sales, browse Craigslist. Also put the word out in your circle or hood that you buy stuff if somebody trying to move it. Keep an eye out on store closing and liquidation sales also. Start fukking with Chinese suppliers too, just order a couple samples until you find a reliable seller. Get the stuff, post it and eat. And just always be on the look out for something to flip anytime you in the streets. This probably gonna sound crazy but I stay buying clothes off J's. They'll have some shyt on they have had for 20 years or they got from the shelter for free and it's just a good dry cleaning away from being on eBay or etsy to me. Bought a vintage Starter jacket off this J not even a week ago. Miami 'Canes, classic joint with the zippers on the side. I paid the nikka 5 for it and I bet you I get at least 100 online

Man you already know. I stay off Candler, so I'm pretty much in the hood I'm gonna start looking out for local liquidation sales like you suggested. I already got a few Thrift Store that I can probably flip some clothes from. I brought this a few weeks ago for $25. It didn't have tags but it's in mint condition. Looks like it's never been worn. I see these shyts are going for$100 on EBAY. I brought it with intentions of keeping but I might just need to gone head and flip it. That's a good idea though. Refurbishing clothes

Very true on the siding with the buyer part. That's why I don't buy anything over a certain amount. Cuz I know the fuccery built in so if I take an L on a transaction its no biggie. But 20% is a little high. I'd say after eBay and PayPal it's closer to about 14-16%. And most of my accounts are power sellers, I usally don't pay listing fees. That shyt straight if you really know what you doing. Granted it took me a few years to get it but once I did that shyt became a solid ass side income stream

You on the right track breh. It's some bread in trifting for clothes if you know what to look for. I used to fukk with trift stores. Ate pretty good. I still fukk with used clothes but now I buy them by the pound from the auction. Ill get a pallet of 100 used jackets at a time, I'll trash most of them and keep maybe 20 and put on eBay. And I always get at least one jacket in the lot that pays for everything by itself. Brands are always the move but also look for vintage non name brand shyt too. A lot of this shyt comes back around and the cuts of certain clothes or color scheme will be some shyt that a hipster would pay for now. Didn't even know you was in the city. Hit me up and I'll put you on the best areas for stores and auctions. I ain't really trying to list them on here.
