They typically follow a leader or leaders...strict rules and practices...hand gestures...symbols...ritualistic pratices. Members participate in robbery, murder, mayhem, drugs, an an array of other underhanded acts. All these would be classified in the most general sense under negativity or evil correct? 
Let's be clear too...many cats on the streets are admitted savages and enjoy being wicked. Not bad...literal wickedness. Look to CHI or many other of the worst hoods gang epicenters across the US. Literal demons and murderers do or have existed within their ranks. Nggas that have had no reservations about ending lives. Sleep...eat...rinse and repeat til they get jammed or it happens to them.
