white privilege. That punk cop just let her get away with this. Dont get me wrong. Im glad he suffered. But covered this whole thing up as well. Send her to jail and let his junkie sister raise him. Cant believe that ngga sacrificed himself for them white people.

That actor is now Juice from Sons of Anarchy status where I'm going to go :beli: every time he pops up in anything. Goofy ass. Man softly tussled with that little ass girl when he could've just chilled or if he wanted to play the hero, at least tackle her ass.

During the first episode, I said to my gf I know that actor was cast to play the husband because he's a douche, and Jay Ellis was cast because his character is fukking someone he shouldn't be fukking.

We're on episode 6 now. It's decent trash TV.

Yeah the writing between episode 3-6 maybe 7 was ehh....
They did a lot of dancing /filler around the brother, the sister's interracial relationship, the cop playing stepdad, i rather they kinda just stuck to the issue. This could've been flushed out in 4 episodes.

I hate to sound like this but they were easily checking the box on things and making sure things were covered. Certain shows do it better, this seemed a bit forced.

The ending just.. "meh"

I mean.... thats punishment enough lol. He could arrest her, but Milo end up in the system. I don't think the sister has money like that since her brother was paying for everything. Her Husband died and she's now raising a kid that's not hers, i guess thats her punishment. He only got soft because he's playing stepdad to the kid with special needs.

:mjlol:

Throw him up on the Mt Rushmore of white male actors who play unlikeable characters.

In. They better stick the landing.
Yea this shyt was good and terrible. I haven’t seen a show that most embodies this viral clip of Jameela explaining that studios want dumbed-down scripts.

The premise was solid and so was the potential of the actors, but the writing was fukking god awful. Every motivation in this was fukking stupid. And the over explaining of every twist, turn and revelation was hilarious.

It's interesting but definitely feels like more of a network TV type of show. Definitely some weird dialogue and plot holes.

I'm just got done with the second episode and the two that don't make sense to me are

Why would people be mad at Dakota Fanning for hiring the nanny? If she hired her and she was totally normal and then went rogue, nobody would hold that against you. And then it was super corny at the press conference, no reporter would heckle a parent of a missing child like they did.
Eh. That wasn’t a stretch to me.

She didn't properly vet the nanny, admittedly cause she was busy. Everyone in that community is operating under the assumption that the people we are letting around our children is thoroughly vetted. You letting someone who was so loosely vetted around all our children is a major violation.
