im not gonna lie it didnt feel the same exactly.....but it still brought me joy. But yeah in the city you didnt see hella people driving around with Laker flags like usual. There's one developer in the city next to the Fox Hills Mall that keeps flying Kobe jerseys and Laker/Dodger championship banners off the top of the building but besides that you havent seen too much celebration. I mean it's COVID times, people got other shyt to worry about rn. The night the Lakers won the title people turned up downtown but besides that not like a usual title year
One of the buildings downtown was still lit up purple and gold when I went out there and that was a few weeks after we won. It was enough indications for me as a visitor that the Lakers won but I could also see how Covid has shyt different out there. Hardly any traffic for one, that alone let me know it ain’t normal times in LA.
