Just finished this inking sample (didn't work on the actual book but I inked the black lines over a copy of the pencils). Can't sell it b/c it's a sample to show off my skills.

From Batgirl #17 pg. 2. Pencils by Daniel Sampere.

Aint no talent, you develop that shyt.
I just picked up this book called "drawing on the right side of your brain" and it goes in on how literally anyone should be able to draw adequately if they were just practiced. I didn't really believe it but I'm starting to see some improvements. At the same time I'm not really interested in drawing super realistic shyt anyway

Yea from a technical standpoint you can master literally any artistic medium you want, just put in those "10 thousand hours" and you're there

The only separating factor imo is "creativity" and that just comes down to taste and your confidence in your unique taste (aka exaggerating it so it makes yours stand out)
