The whole design of this game is long term multiplayer. GTAV has an online mode but more people play it for the single player. I for one never touched the online mode of GTA.

Majority of ppl didn't buy this game for MP. The PVE gameplay if the long term value of this game as you level up, play harder strikes/missions, go after legendary equipment

there were no review only servers. review copies were mailed out a day before official release meaning the reviewers played this game alongside the rest of us for review purposes.

that might not be competitive multiplayer but its still multiplayer.

Haven't played it yet, but I can co-sign the OP in my experience. People I know who don't bother with reviews keep telling me it's worth a cop.

They're probably casual gamers...that is who bungie is targeting. Anyone who knows enough about marketing and gaming in general knows that this game is just a grindfest with a halo themed competitive multiplayer. It's also a MMORPG with out the massively multiplayer part. Not a dig at the game, just when you frame it for what it is, it's just not that impressive.

Game is still fun even if i stop playing it in a few months.

Majority of these reviewers played this game like all others and thats why they scored it so low. Review only servers where the worlds/MP weren't populated. Some of them played by themselves(This game does suck running solo, esp on story missions/strikes) And the game does become much more interesting when you reach lvl 20 as far as options goes. I will honor IGN review because at least they did the right thing as far as realizing the uniqueness of this game and held off a week before reviewing it

Yeah. And in today's world just overall, subpar/snarky reviews and scores get more attention and hits which is all these sites want.

I'm just glad this shyt wasn't around in the NES through mid 2000s. shyt is a total "look at me" fest with everything now.

No matter how many times this thread is made opinions will not change. As a Halo player since the first game I don't see what this game offers that Halo didn't already do better unless you care about leveling up.
