NFL ratings are down because more and more people are cutting the cord. ESPNs ratings are in a tail spin for the same reason.

Men ages 25-50 can't carry the torch any longer (raising kids, work, etc.) and kids by and large don't consume media in long sittings anymore. They were raised on clips.
