How many rings Dirk got??:sas2:

Kobe and Duncan have 5 rings and have met 6 times in the post season.

Kobe has 5 rings and Dirk has 1 ring. Kobe and Dirk have met once in the post season.

:mjlol: at being upset.:mjlol:

I just gave you facts yet I'm moving goal posts. If Dirk had 5 rings you'd have a point. You Kobe stans need to take a day off.

So head to head postseason matchups matter, but only if two guys have won the same number of championships?

:heh:

Its entertaining watching you guys try to come up with such random rules and measures to try to justify your misguided opinion. Its supposed to be the other way around.

It's a toss up between Kobe and Duncan in my eyes. The head to head post season match up record is the tie breaker for me. If Duncan wins another title then he moves ahead.

If you think Dirk is better than Kobe or on his level than I see where you are coming from. I just don't think Dirk is on the same level as Kobe and Duncan.:manny:

These cats get their feelings hurt just because a person likes another player better or a player that they don't like. These cats are in every thread of a player they don't like. It's psychotic.

put it this way.

Duncan is the Paul Allen of the NBA, an all time great, but was never the face of the league (company), didn't help take the brand to another level, he was just there.

Kobe is Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.. same accomplishments, but was face of the league, the biggest star, and transcended the league.

(not to mention all them first round chokes Duncan has had in past 7 years)

You can like a player more or have a favorite, but that's a totally different discussion from who is better or had the better career.

I dont personally LIKE Tim Duncan at all. fukk the Spurs as a team, an organization and a motherfukkin crew. But I can still acknowledge greatness and rank accomplishments apart from my own opinions. Ya'll cant seem to do that.

I agree you with on the Spurs. My hate for them is near the Celts but Laker fans have way more respect for Timmy than Spurs fans do for Kobe. Many of us recognize the greatness of Duncan while thinking Kobe is greater.

Kobe is definitely Steve Jobs. Did the least from a substantive perspective yet got the most limelight.

Dirk is 1-0 against Kobe in the postseason. His Mavs went in as the huge underdog against the defending champions, every single "expert" picked LA, and instead Dirk went super sayin and SWEPT Kobe's team, sent the Lakers into the shytter where they've been ever since, and effectively ended his chapter.

Do you still want to use this postseason head-to-head matchup argument or nah? :mjpls:

You didn't think this pro-Lebron argument all the way through....did you?
