how bout you? i bet you don't buy albums either. who does in this age?

I buy albums that I like.

Thing is you talmbout what rappers need to do and how they need to change yet you don't wanna SUPPORT the artists that actually make the music that you say you want to hear...if everybody takes the route you have, where's the incentive?

Influences people to do what?

whats wrong with teens listening to Keef?

Didn't you listen to Biggie, Wu, etc as a teen?

Everything lol

Me personally I don't blame my current situation on the music I listened to when I was younger because I just didn't have any guidance period so probably wouldn't have made a difference what I was listening to

As disenfranchised youth I think a lot of times we looked to rap music for answers whether subconsciously or otherwise

That might sound ridiculous to some of you who come from more structured backgrounds but it's the truth imo

And the rappers from the 90s that you mentioned above did have some gems in their songs don't get me wrong but they also promoted an anti social and destructive behavior and lifestyle at times

:what:

A few albums from back in the days? Like what? Probably something about guns, drugs and other dumb shyt huh?

:martin:

How about you start buying albums that contain the type of content that you like so more people will want to drop that kind of music? shyt you could at least take some time off from holding 50 Cent's dikk to make a thread or two about artists that you would rather be at the forefront of this positive new frontier of rap music that you campaigning for...

So, you guys are saying that the op is white because he thinks gangster rap just might have a negative influence on young black people and it should be toned down?

You guys do realize that other black people have gone on record to mirror his thoughts, right?

The problem is, a lot of rappers deny the negative influence because they don't want to take responsibility for one, and for two, they knew then and now that gangster rap sells. It isn't as big in the mainstream as it was, but if you go to black parties and social functions, it's still in heavy rotation.

Just because it isn't the only issue causing crime in the black community, doesn't mean it isn't a factor. I think rap music was more diverse at one time. In the 90's, there were more lyricists, and rappers that you could tell were just having fun. And all these guys got play at social functions, I would imagine.

tell that to the kids out in Chicago, it's no joke out there.
Hello sir,I been working in the Chicago public school system going on ten years and I will tell you straight from the horses mouth that the lack of leadership from the PARENTS has more of a negative impact than music...I will agree the music plays a part but it is not as large of a impact as some people say..I have seen parents *both men and women* tell there boys to hit that bytch.....the fukk:dahell: when you have leaders of the household buying there children iPads with unlimited WiFi just so they can leave them alone, that's a problem, picking up your child with a half of kush, having the whole first floor smelling like a wiz Khalifa concert.. That's a problem lmao. most award ignorance or just don't give a fukk in return THAT'S when the music and the environment grabs a hold of the child. The so called lames are still going to high school and succeeding in college..they listen to future as well...the difference... They have a parent or two help guide there child thru the jungle. It starts at home

Why does the buck stop at rappers. Weren't they influenced as kids...and thier heros before them. America is drenched in violence breh. The problem is when dumb smart nikkas try to make the argument that blacks are inherently violent and much more so then everybody else. If rap is the ultimate form of expression and violence is an American lust that we cant get enough of...why do people get upset when rappers show expressions of violence? Especially if it has been shown that violence sells.

The op made a thread complaining about the violent content of rap (drugs, sex etc) yet he continues to listen and support the same rap he complains about :mjlol:

The nikka even has rocafella chains in his avi :dead:

That's like a nikka saying "the porn industry is disgusting and needs to be eradicated" yet that same nikka still watches porn daily :mjlol:
Oh he's just concerned about black on black crime :mjpls:

but real talk how can Black Lives Matter when people still killing each other?

so if i'm not dark skinned i can't speak on the situation? but calling me a "cac" will solve the problem?

it should be All Lives Matter, people just quick to make an issue about race. but i'm not gonna sit here and lie and say that blacks don't get targeted more cause they do. but if people want to change shyt they have to start in the communities and make that change. simple as that. all of this racist shyt needs to stop too cause this is what the enemy wants, for people to turn against each other. people need to wake the fukk up and look at the bigger picture.

shut yo racist ass up bruh, you ain't gonna solve shyt like that. people like you are part of the problem. talk all this "change" shyt but you ignorance just shows how dumb you are fakkit.

police target anybody that dresses a certain way, regarless of race. i've been stopped, searched & patted down by cops plenty of times cause of the way i dress.

Whether y'all like it or not, more and more rappers are gonna gain a sense of self and racial pride because of the events happening currently in society. Meek is just the start, but mark my words more rappers will realize how damaging glorifying black genocide is.

80% of mainstream rap promotes destructive behaviour and this is BY DESIGN:

Hip-hop is the most powerful and influential art form on the planet and there is a SPECIFIC REASON that whites/Jews took control of it. Hip-hop culture has the potential to be one of the greatest weapons for black people, but sadly it is currently being used as a weapon AGAINST us.

Most of you shytting on OP's message are probably white:yeshrug:

I can't imagine a proud black person becoming furious at his message:yeshrug:

Its just music breh. Like any art form its influential. But that influence is not just negative. There is plenty good coming from it as well. These artist are not leaders they are entertainers. Thats why they get paid to do.

How is it most likely listen to these same artist either in the past or present and your not out killing people or worse? Are you the exception to the rule? What makes you different? We can all indulge in fantasy without thinking it has to be our reality. On the other hand there are many out there that live that reality....and hiphop will always be the soundtrack to that lifestyle. :yeshrug:

Hiphop is building black dynasties by the way. At a much more rapid pace then any other form of economic growth in the black community. Let our people live breh. Hating with old man strawman politics and shyt....
