All these all star games should have been left behind in the 1900s. They serve no point anymore.

Radio is no longer the dominant media platform.
You can pull up highlights anytime on youtube. Players get paid too much to care about meaningless exhibitions.


Baseball, football, basketball ... the allstar concept doesn't work in the 21st century.

Nah it serves a purpose, it's just the players don't wanna play hard. They play harder in the Rico Hines summer runs, so there is proof they will give effort. The point is seeing the best players in the world playing together and vs each other in what's supposed to be the best basketball league in the world's best exhibition.

- USA vs World
- Starters vs Reserves with reserves getting a 20 pt lead to start the game
- Standard East vs West but 3 pointers count as 2 in the 4th quarter

How?

Money is the only thing that seems to motivate these nikkas so all these sponsors need to chip in so they get paid more incentives to play hard


Keep it Easy vs West pay per quarter with a 40-40-40-60 incentive goes to the winners of each quarter, losers don't get shyt winning team gets home court in the finals

And it won't cost the fans any extra, just logo the fukk outta the all star jerseys and the court, companies pay alot for the little logo they put on the team jerseys already. Up the scale on the all star jerseys
