Today’s all star game is just a product of how the game itself is played . nikkas barely play defense in real games, why would they give a fukk about the all star game?

This is it. The all star games were popular because it was the only time you could see every player. Usually you had your local team or whoever the Bulls were playing.Seriously, all these guys are on TV and the streaming apps all the time.

You can pull up highlights anytime on youtube. Players get paid too much to care about meaningless exhibitions.
