The thing about them dual threat qbs is at some point it's gonna come down to you needing 50 yards in a minute to win a big game and the dual threat dude who can't work a pocket comes up short a lot. You aren't scampering your way through a two minute drill to go win the game.

i dont think he runs enough to be considered dual threat. Obviously he can run but I classify him as a mobile QB not dual threat.

Pure pocket passers only work when you got Pro Bowlers/All-Pros all over the O-Line

Favre/Brady/Peyton/Brees/Rivers were not having to go outside the pocket, or have to really step-up into it as much.

Mahomes doesn't run alot but when he does it's always for a critical first down.
