:leostare: but then vince would make less money and tell shareholders that they were going to make less return on their investment

OR

they could just sign more wrestlers and inject new flavor :jbhmm:

Aren't they already losing money or making a little dough on house shows? Renting an arena, flying talent plus other things just to pack 8k in a building that holds 18k. I know merch helps out too.

Its not even that. Its the way they're booking. They book the SAME people to face each other at every event.

So that means the SAME people are always working. (Did the UK really need to see Seth Rollins vs Kane?)

You never see squash matches anymore. You never see local jobbers on television anymore. WWE could cut down on a lot of the shyt if they just utilized their roster better.

no it isn't. they've been running this schedule for years and these injuries rarely happen.

it's probably how the guys are training (happens in MMA too when dudes overtrain) or it's just a coincidence. i mean people are eventually going to get hurt when they put their bodies in simulated car crashes whether they do it once a year or 3 times a week.

their live events still make them a lot of money whether their popularity is as high as it once was. it would be pretty dumb to cutback until they start making no/losing money on them.

But who's gonna watch a bunch of star vs jobber matches in 2016? I mean that was cool back when I was a kid... but ever since wrestling took that step toward stars vs. stars, it'd be hard to go backwards and get viewers to sit thru the stars beatin' up random locals again. They've been putting stars against stars on the regular since '97... a lot of current fans didn't even grow up watching jobber matches. Y'all talk about ratings now, wonder what they'd look like if they started doin' that.

I Agree because I believe that the Human Body wasn't meant to be exposed to this type of Physical Activity for this long. All the Bumps these People take adds up no matter how safe they're being. They need time to Heel and the WWE Schedule just doesn't leave you much time for that. Especially if you become popular, you'll be thrown around and beat up much more. Sure, it's Entertainment but the Injuries are Real.
