:wtf: Who cares about the outcome if neither team can score more then 50 points.

Show me the games in which neither team scored 50 points.

Furthermore the topic is about how the NCAA is trash because of the upsets, not because of the low scoring.

aside from the gulf coast and harvard games, what was some crazy upset? those were the only games where teams with an underdog of more than 5½ points won the game

Upsets stop being "upsets" a couple years ago when VCU, Butler and all those teams were in the Final Four. Nothing against those teams, but... There's not really any such thing as "Cindarella" anymore. Unless there's a loaded down Calipari team, no team these days is a clear cut fav to make the FF. That Butler/Uconn national title game 2 years ago is THE WORST bball game I've ever seen.

That being said, Florida Gulf Coast was fairly entertaining to watch, so they're who I'm pulling for. OU bball lost, as I knew they would.

True, there are no standout teams, but I think the upsets are what make it great every year. :manny:

Also why I refuse to do any brackets.

If you really can't stand college ball, try watching a few high school games. It makes college basketball look like the NBA. Embrace the fuccery that is unpolished, reckless, unscripted basketball.

Im sorry I think upsets and mid-major schools showing there chemistry and prowess is what makes march madness. There is reason March Madness and NFL Playoffs are the highest rated sporting events, because its Any Given Sunday(well not for college b-ball, but you know what I mean), with enough effort and TEAM PLAY, anybody can win.

I'm lovin' the fact that the big schools have to show up and play this year in the tourny. Nobody can be taken lightly at all in this March Madness

SOHH, now we make posts about something sucking because people still don't realize making a bracket is useless. Especially now. With the one and done rule, its hard for the power conferences to get the same chemistry the mid-majors have. So that equalizes things. You stave off pure talent and lack of chemistry with experience and team chemistry. The thing is, even when top players were staying to their junior years, there were still big upsets.

Why are people acting like upsets are REALLY upsets?

Folks only look at games being upsets because of the seedings and that's the problem with NCAA. The way they seed teams now is absolute trash.

I don't care what the records say, it looks like most of these teams get their seedings based on the conference they played in rather than the quality of opponents they beat.

Because when you look at it, New Mexico had no business being a 3 seed, or OK St at 5. Wisconsin at 5... WTF?

These mediocre teams are placed way too high because they know casual fans will think they're a great team and makes the "upset" that much better. And Vegas cleans up on it too. It's self-created drama. None of these teams are that much better than the other. That's why college ball gets a lot of its criticism.
