Right after number 9 is right when I start thinking, hmm, Wayne is probably next. I voted 11-15.

Anyone who doesn't think he's a legend needs to look up the definition of that word because if you don't think Wayne will be talked about until the end of time/hip hop, you're delusional.

For those of you saying a moment of greatness, what exactly do you mean. I'm about to turn 28 and some of the best times I ever had in my life I was listening to Wayne. I remember from the time Lollipop dropped to the time Got Money dropped I prolly had the best times of my life.



Wayne was the first artist who had the streets and the internet on lock at the same time.



I wouldn't rank him top 25 tho, but he had moments. Clubs would play his shyt for 20 minutes straight like it was nothing.

I gotta be in the mood to listen to him... No doubt he got some hot verses, But I have never listened to more then 3 songs in a row from him let alone a whole album... So I wouldnt know where to rank him in...

here is my thing.

over the years i've read many critic-made and fan-made GOAT lists and never/not once have i seen him near the top ten.

he is usually on the top 10 now/currently/this year - lists, but he is nowhere near the top 10 OF ALL TIME/EVER - lists!!!!

that to me says a lot about where people see and place him in the grand scheme of things as far as hip hop is concerned!!!

For that run of music between Tha Carter and Tha Carter III top 10, all the classic music he dropped in that era was insane, Dedication II, Da Drought III, Tha Carter 3 leaks, the actual Carter albums, all incredible. He's definitely fell off but dudes a legend for the music he dropped in that period, No Ceilings was his last great project, even though that came way after that era
