I loved the slim shady ep/lp and all his guest spots in that time frame
then the mmlp era

eminem show era was pretty weak to me

8 mile era was a comeback

but those westwood alchemist freestyles with royce are sick and if he did an album of stuff like that on raw beats i would love it

i used to hate that old infinite album but thats actually been one of my favorite albums the past few years

Ehhh, I think it's a little different... a lot of people on here will clown on Jay because this is a predominantly Nas favored board, however most will agree Jay is still top 5-10 regardless. You got people on here saying Em isn't top 25. I think I read somewhere he wasn't in someone's top 50.

Eminem for me would be in my top 30. His skills don't match the content that he puts out. Great skills but subpar content. In terms of "classic" albums, the only arguable ones are MMLP and Eminem Show. And I don't consider them classics because they haven't aged well at all.

The hate runs deeper for Eminem because there is still a large portion of people (white people) who still place him on a pedestal and act like he's the best rapper alive when he isn't even close. We get tired of hearing that.
