Not rhetoric. Just truth.

The gist is: THERE IS A TON OF TALENTED MC's...NONE GET THE ACCLAIM BY WHITEBOYS AND c00nS LIKE EMINEM BECAUSE HE IS WHITE.

And the reason there's black MC's that don't reach the holy grail like Pac, Nas, Jay, etc...is because they never did what those MC's did. Name the Mc's that made classics that aren't named consistently in Top 10 lists.

Again, this shouldn't even be debatable, Eminem is the most overrated MC ever. Not even close.
ur not making sense

Pac jay Nas get that acclaim from white people

Most acclaim come from white people

The only reason those 4 are still relevant is because of white people

Ya u can personally prefer those 4 over em but ur rhetoric is inconsistent because the MCs u metiond are relevant because of the acclaim they get from "cacs"

U sounding like a whining baby. ol "why do they like him more than my fave MC" and now u go the extra mile to discredit dude :wtf:

What kinda fukk nikka sht?? :what:

"Name MCs that made classics that arent named consistently in top 10 lists"??

WHOS LISTS????

CLASSICS TO WHO???

Get ur arguments straight nukka..u switching from objective and subjective arguments all in a homotional rant cuz the same people that gave ur precious Nas all the acclaim are the same ones who give Em that acclaim :heh:

How could one of the "greatest MCs of all time" drop songs like these? :comeon:

YEAH EM IS ONE OF THE MOST TECHNICALLY SOUND RAPPERS TO EVER TOUCH THE MIC AND HE IS A TOP 10 GOAT BUT HALF THE MAGIC IS BECAUSE HE IS WHITE. TO DENY THAT IS PLAIN IGNORANCE. EM EVEN ADMITS THAT HIMSELF. HE GOT RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FROM BLACKS BECAUSE HE WAS ACTUALLY DOPE WITH THE MIC BUT THE RECORD SALES ARE DEFINITELY PADDED DUE TO THAT WHITE SKIN. HIS MUSIC WAS ALSO AIMED AT WHITE PEOPLE. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT HIP-HOP IS BLACK MUSIC. ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE. WE MOVE THE CULTURE. WHITES AND OTHER RACES/CULTURES JUST FUND THE MUSIC BUT THE CLIMATE IS STARTIN TO CHANGE. AS BLACK AMERICANS CONTINUE TO GROW AS PEOPLE, SO WILL THE MUSIC AND SO WILL THE TIME THAT THE YOUNGINS THAT ARE CREATING WILL PUT INTO IT....BY THE WAY...IM NOT A HUGE EM FAN BUT I RESPECT HIS CATALOG...THE BEST EM ALBUMS TO ME ARE THE EMINEM SHOW AND RECOVERY. I NEVER REALLY LIKED ALL THAT SILLY SHYT OR THE FANTASY MURDER STORIES.

The fukk is you talmbout, breh? I actually was gonna type out some long response to this bullshyt until clarity harassed me. You the same breh that claimed Inspectah Deck's Triumph verse makes no sense and is "rippity rap". A nikka that says that deserves no responses. get the fukk outta here.

Cut that fakkit shyt out, slash. Stand by what the fukk u posted. You claimed that Deck's Triumph verses, one of the greatest verses in hip hop history, was "rippity rap" and didn't make sense. Be a man and stand by what u posted, breh.

Em was making songs about killing women. If Pac made a song like that in the 90s, the scrutiny would be 100 times worse. Eminem got it pretty easy. So easy that when white people are gushing over Eminem in the comments for an article, no one even makes gratuitous references to that part of his career. Like they do for black entertainers.
Yea instead he rapped about killing cops

we know he can rap.
so can Canibus, Chino XL, Crooked I, Ras Kass* and plenty of other bums who can't make good music..he falls into that category for me.

Eminem had a proper machine behind him and the timing for a white rapper to come out and saying things like "fukk the world" on record was perfect for the suburban kids that missed the Nirvana era that were now becoming teens... along with corny filth like Marylyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, Papa Roach etc.. and that was your new angry white teen music... thats his impact on hip-hop culture right there.. letting those chumps think they can have an some sort of opinion on hip-hop.

also, he's a fakkit.

his music doesn't resonate with me in any sort of form or fashion.
i don't like his voice, his content that is guaranteed to be corny 90% of the time.. the hooks on most of his songs and his beat selection has never been good. so all in all how i could even take him serious as a "GOAT" contender ? i don't mind people saying it in the context of an MC but the overall package...no chance.

i don't care what people like..shyt, people on here love J. Cole for some reason and i saw someone call Lupe their hero on here..absurd to me but i wouldn't go in on them or try and change their minds because i wouldn't expect someone to change my mind on who i like..but the over the top campaigning for Eminem is something i don't like.. also, the way other artists in the industry treat and talk about Eminem is with kid gloves for some reason.. i don't like that either.

*not including Ras Kass 'Soul On Ice'

people just need to understand that just because dude is a rapper that doesn't mean he is a part of hiphop.
hiphop fans like rappers and from a technical aspect they have a very clear hierarchy when it comes to ranking them.
that ranking doesnt generally include eminem at the top the of list. or even that close to the top tbh.
but pop fans have their own hierarchy and they like to put their favorite artist at number 1 regardless.
eminem has a massive following of pop fans but that many hip hop fans.

Lookup one of his albums on amazon and it'll say people who bought this album also bought ; lady gaga, katy perry, lmfao ect
Lookup one of Biggie's albums and itll say people who bought this also bought; a bunch of rapping ass nikkas basically.

Em is perhaps the GOAT feature rapper but we can't let go of the fact that his albums are trash. Biggie has a better catalog and he only lived long enough to make two albums
People hate jay but at least jay has at least three bonifide classics. em arguably has 1
