He’s the flavor of the month just as everyone was, Biden still comes out on top in National polls. Sanders about to take a huge L against Biden in the south :umad:

Bernie's campaign fundraisers outpaced everyone on the campaign trial. To say he's just the "flavor of the month" is basically lying under oath in court.

Bernie gonna win the nomination and the presidency. Enjoy progressivism and an actual 21st Century America with great infrastructure. :umad:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Last 2 months nothing but "Warren's falling off" and "here comes Bootyjudge" and "Biden is the safe pick" but the last polls show it's 1 and 2 Sanders and Warren in Iowa.

The agenda is real :scust:

Democratic primary is one thing. Elect-ability in the general election is another.

And it's a valid argument. Especially with "independent voters", "battle ground" and "swing states"

The media and the powers that be want things to go back to it's natural order. A centrist president with a centrist house/senate that will ensure the status quo remains the same.

And if Tulsi Gabbard was a white male, they would be pushing her the the forefront in a heart beat.

I could even see Bernie losing parts of the North such as Maine. People really don’t realize that most of the country is conservative

Most of the country THINKS theyre conservative. Kind of like all those rednecks in West Virginia stomping their feet over Obamacare,t hen when they started using it they started protesting their own Republican congressmen who wanted to repeal it.

I'd prefer Bernie over Biden, but I'm not particularly confident either can beat Trump. :patrice:

That's all that matters because that's what they use to vote on.

Bernie's biggest issue will be overcoming the socialism stigma for suburban white voters and getting black voters to turn out higher than 2016 in the south. We know that black voters will vote dem if they vote and a few states are in play.

My point is if you can get your message to people, you can turn them. All you have to do is get past the propaganda.

RCP averages:

Biden 48% Trump 45%
Sanders 48% Trump 44%

And that should be the high-water mark for Trump. What could he possibly say to get more voters on his side? He's been in our faces for five years, he's campaigning constantly, he's already shot his load.

Biden similarly is pretty much a known factor. The only fear with him is that he'll gaffe his way through the campaign, so his number legitimately could drop.

Sanders has potential to grow even more from where he's at. Like we saw with the Fox News Town Hall, moderates/conservatives like the actual Bernie more than the caricature of Bernie they get through the media. How is he going to lose support, who is a Bernie supporter now who doesn't already know exactly what he's all about? People say, "Oh, Trump will just keep repeating that Bernie's a socialist." But that's the one thing that EVERYONE knows about Bernie already. I'd love for Trump to try to lean on that message since he won't gain any ground at all with it. It's not like Trump will be the candidate to explain to everyone why his policies are superior to socialism, he can't talk policy for shyt. But he can actually grab more of the disgruntled white middle, especially in those rust belt states that Trump barely won last time, if the voters get a chance to hear his message and realize they'll actually be better off under him too.

I think winning the primary will be much more difficult for Bernie than winning the general. If he manages to overcome the cynicism about electability in the primaries then he should be the immediate favorite for November.
