Coming from a man who admittedly enjoys rolling around on sweaty gym mats with other men, eats strawberries dipped in sugar, has a softer more feminine internet alter ego, and names himself after a boy who runs around in nothing but his draws and is best friends with a large "bear."Yea I knew you were an undercover fakkit lover. bytch boy.![]()
I think I've talked to you enough for one day can you go away please. you pop up everywhere I am and it's getting awkwardComing from a man who admittedly enjoys rolling around on sweaty gym mats with other men, eats strawberries dipped in sugar, has a softer more feminine internet alter ego, and names himself after a boy who runs around in nothing but his draws and is best friends with a large "bear."
Begging for mercy huh? Just don't start tagging cook and the mods again. That was pathetic.I think I've talked to you enough for one day can you go away please. you pop up everywhere I am and it's getting awkward
You're begging to be talked to. I'm good right now but thanks for your time. You may go.Begging for mercy huh? Just don't start tagging cook and the mods again. That was pathetic.
You getting that work from all angles. Just say no mas. You're begging to be talked to. I'm good right now but thanks for your time. You may go.
Or they were knocked to the groundyou need evidence bc anyone can just say something. if i watch 10 vids on youtube where the fights go to the ground, then i might be inclined to believe most of them do. i would be ignoring the fact that i saw a small sample size. and most of the fights i personally have witnessed do not go to the ground, dudes threw hands like men.
Wrestlers have better take downs but a jujitsu guy can take a guy to the ground with a single leg pretty effortlessly. I mean the scoop slam has been a staple street move since the dawn of time so we can't pretend like people aren't going to the ground. And even in a close quarters clinch jujitsu is dangerous because of the choke options from the front, the ability to take the back to lock in a choke. Kimura from standing.Or they were knocked to the ground
(Like the vid on the very front page got KO'd by the PAL boxer for trying to rob a drugstore)
I agree, wrestling is more useful in the streets... As well as boxing.
I would say Muay Thai if you didn't throw your kicks too high.
Only time I seen BJJ work is on random YouTube vids where the dudes automatically fall on the floor to try and get a lock... That's a no no where I'm from because you never know whose around
BJJ works in closed, 1v1 settings without threat of outside interference and against people with no type of skills at all usually.
It's good to know in if you're in MMA though. But I know for a fact that most dudes who do MMA do it not for the art, discipline, etc.
It's so they can be a complete douche without fear of repercussions... And it's kinda that brainwashing they do where they believe their art is better than everyone's because the Gracie's fought a bunch of random dudes not familiar with the style back in the day.
Most MMA guys remind me of whiteboys that be in the gym looking at themselves in the mirror or think they're hard because they've put on muscle
Doesn't Nas blast Jay Z for that in Ether?Be 36 in a karate class, brehs.
But you didn't do that to the barber who turned your hairline into a cursive run-on sentence.![]()
How much these classes cost? How often do u attend? I'm interestedAs someone who decided to take BJJ because of @Mowgli's supposedI can let y'all know right now he's 100% right. If he really is a brown belt (I assume he is) he could choke out 95% of the people on this site relatively easy. I grappled with my instructor (black belt) and it felt like I was gonna die. The amount of pressure a grapple can put on you with leverage and body placement is scary.
But it's not just about BJJ, it's about training period. Whether it's boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, shyt even wrestling, anyone with training has a massive advantage against someone who never trains. I know everybody on the coli has 1 punch knockout power in both hands and have an arsenal of guns they carry with them at all times, but if you've never grappled before you'll be in for a world of hurt if someone with just a few months of training gets their hands on you.
But like I always said, don't take my word for it. Most BJJ gyms let you sign up for a free class. Take one and decide for yourself![]()
