Exactly it's like some people want to embrace the lowest common denominator in black music. People are going backwards by saying that trap music is all that blacks have left. I don't ever want to see that type of future. Blacks should be going forward and retaking black genres like jazz, funk, electronic, classic rap etc..

Those other artforms require dedication, skill, discipline, and heart. The modern black c00n rapper has none of them. All they know is to push trash in the truckloads and think that it is "real" street music.

There is some good work being done in those genres by black artists but they don't get near the notoriety as shyt like trap music does.

And thru the lens of ya whitewashed self u claimed that the Migos have none of this..

Do u know how much skill it takes to do what they do, which ofc implies dedication and heart..

Ofc since ur criteria for skill is parallel to how these crackaz gauge it u miss out on the other aspects that require skill

Which is why I continue to deem u the biggest product of white appropriation

Exactly. They get dismissed and shytted on and even forgotten by their own people.

Being a quality artist like Nas (someone that you hate) takes thousands of hours to master and takes a lot of heart to make an album like "Untitled" in modern times. A trap rapper literally has to rely on other people to make beats and to promote them. Of course their "performance" has to be worked on because that is their ONLY incentive to keep their fickle fans.

^^^ This post is what bullshyt looks like.
Half of y'all expect a major label to shove Hip Hop down your throats.
This is all bullshyt fronting from posters who hardly even fukking rock with
Hip Hop anymore to begin with.
Half of y'all are nowhere to be found when dope rappers that aren't
on a major drop.
Where are y'all in the KA threads ?
Where are y'all in the Skyzoo threads ?
Where are y'all in the Chino XL threads ?
Where are y'all in the Canibus threads ?
Where are y'all in the El-P and Killer Mike threads ?
Where are y'all when new rappers are being broken in on
the coli and we only get like two pages of posters willing to check it out ?

Y'all can't play me because I'm actually posting in these fukking threads.

Dudes can post, post #9999 about why Hip Hop sucks but are nowhere

u think having powerful delivery, double timing while maintaing that delivery, and creating different cadences takes no talent??? nikka what u fail to realize is that the lyrics arent the hardest part to this rap sht...
But u bunch in a bunch of rappers cuz they seem "ignorant to you" because this sht foreign to u..the same way these grammy cacs prolly bunch in alot of artists in the same category when they're not supposed to be

Listen here nikka..u is whitewashed as fck and u judge this music on the criteria set by these cacs ..u downplay the other aspects that gives appeal to those in this sht while cacs who are outside looking in wish to overcompensate by approaching this sht in a cynical way

U are the very product of white appropriation and u are the biggest hypocrite on this board

But Im sleep doe :mjpls:

I support the likes of Reks because he knows how to make a song while keeping it lyrical and loves quality samples. Some underground artists are unfairly shytted on, but some of them need to work on an important part of their MC skill (delivery, flow, song structure).

Being "whitewashed" while demanding better quality music with decent subject matter? :heh:

by your logic, I should defend Macklemore and other wack ass rappers. You the Coli version of Benzino that thinks that you are down with "the struggle," but intentionally promote the worse side of black folk, both image and talent wise.

Nope cuz Macklemore doesnt appeal to the streets(which is essentially the origin of hip hop) so its not the same
