yea no shyt sherlock. i didn't say that he had obama's old staffers in high positions...i said he still has several of obama's staff still working in the WH, which is a fact. and if one or a few are privy to some of these conversations, info can get leaked. We already know that ANYTHING can be leaked, so to say that these leaks are impossible is just being willfully ignorant.

Didn't say don't be success. I said that the upper class and middle class are obsessed with fitting in with white people and could care less about working class and poor blacks.

I think you are attempting to conflate your personal experience as the status quo.
Most blacks I went to with at a PWI were interested in having good grades, celebrating their blackness, then either going off to grad school or landing a big job In ATL, NY, DC or Chicago.
I guess the question here is what do you mean by fitting in with white people?

Thinking all these social issues are more important than the economic issues facing the black community.

I went to school in the south. The first thing many whites attempt to do is determine if you're safe and if you're smart. If they determine you are they immediately start describing you as not that black.
In this context, celebrating merely means not letting go of our heritage, our culture, by accepting that we are somehow less black by being successful even if it's only relative.

It's an important thing to celebrate being black and to understand that being black is strong, intelligent, equally superior... I feel that and commend it.
I just want black people who didn't grow up as poor or as working class to understand that liberalism with its hyper-focus on social issues is damaging the black poor and working class and not helping.
Upper class black people are often blinded to the reality of a majority of black people, that's all I'm asying.
They really can't help themselves.
I think this is undervalued by many blacks and you are 100% spot on. I am happy to hear another black person feel the same way as I do.
It does but it isn't bad. I find myself a little more Moderate On many social issues. I support social assistance, but it should be a safety net and not lifestyle. People should want to advance, see that they can advance, and feel the social pressure to advance. Advancement is good.
I think there is a forgetfulness and then a string apathy that comes later on. Sometimes a condemnation, but I've seen that from burnout too.
