This sentiment actually started with the tragedy that was hurricane Katrina and Kanye saying "Bush doesn't care about black people". The actual phrase BLM was coined after the Trayvon and Mike Brown incidents where the white boys who murdered those two were protected from prosecution by the system.

Blacks like Iverson and Sherman know exactly why other blacks are saying "black lives matter". They're just trying to deflect away from white racism. It's sell out shyt and they both should be ridiculed and called out.
