Lack of research wasn't the issue here IMO, it's more so lack of emotional intelligence and perspective.
If you present yourself as a scholar or an activist then cool, research, make a speech or whatever. But these events aren't just affecting scholars, it's hitting home with people from all walks of life. I don't think the situation is so complex that you can't just speak from the heart on it from where you're at in life.
Look at some of the shyt nikkas are in here saying.
How in the fukk did that statement translate into "slavery ain't so bad" or "justice for Zimmerman"?

That's wrong of you to assume my perception of either person. Jordan responded like a rational adult that see's both sides of the coin. Iverson literally took the word nygga and put the -er back on the end in an effort to appease everybody. Like mentioned previously "All lives matter" is a phrase that was coined in direct response to folks saying "black lives matter" One says we want equal treatment. The other says "how dare you be upset about police killing nyggas". I hope you see the difference.
