Seriously though I came back to this site this year after a 3 year hiatus and I barely even look at The Reason anymore. Sure the music isn't what it used to be but back then even when he had slow periods we still had cats like ALDEEZ, thephatmack and many others starting all kinds of discussion about not just current rap climates but the history of our culture and other shyt pertaining to it. I spent more time discussing hip hop records and hip hop as a culture here from 2003 - 2006 than I ever did doing more productive shyt that I should've been doing at the time offline. It's part of the reason I became a global mod back in '04. I was always posting here anyway lol. The Reason at it's peak was like crack and that was due in part to many of us that made up that community at the time.

Bruh.,.. since I was about 14 I was up on them forums and man, the older heads put me on so much game about women and relationships as a shorty. Maybe even some shyt I wasn't supposed to know at the time!
I remember some classic posters like Gambino, KAT, Odizee? some dude named Strawberry? 
few others. Used to be mad peeps getting exposed on there too. My love for hip hop music brought me to the site but being involved in that community and taking part in those debates and discussions (that we still have on here now) really made me fall in love with the culture, especially as on forums we saw so many things unfold in hip hop before our eyes and discussed it to great lengths

I remember the update. shyt took like 6 months and was waaay worse than the original.yep...them cac hackers fukked the forum up
and I def remember SOHH forum blowing up after. I ended up just settling w/ NT, but AHH forum was never the same because they took too damn long to recover.
I also remember some of those trash ass mods.
fukking Odiesel not know how to spell or type. It got so bad that there was an "odiesel's spell check" alias.
