Hi there

We're super excited to show you some gameplay of our Allison Road prototype / pre-Alpha.

These 13 minutes have been put together by our small team of six (that's including SFX & Music) to showcase where the development of the game is at and to give you a feel for the vibe that we're going for.

In order to do that without spoiling any of the story we decided to separate it from the actual game, so while this is real gameplay it's not what you'll see in the full version of the game.

At this point pretty much all of our core mechanics are in place, however, some actually didn't make the cut-off for the video;
The inventory is one of those things.
We'll showcase that at some point in the future.

Everything you see here is work in progress of course; some of the assets are just stand-ins and stuff like that, however, it was important to us to show you what Allison Road looks like when played.

Really hope you like it and if you have any comments please head on over to the facebook page

ALLISON ROAD KEEPS PT ALIVE WITH NEW GAMEPLAY VIDEO

A scary Gone Home?
BY CHLOI RADAllison Road is an upcoming horror game described by the creator as an homage to Silent Hills and its standalone teaser PT. As you can see from the new prototype gameplay trailer above, however, Allison Road is very much its own game.

Perhaps the thing Allison Road shares the most with PT is its photorealistic style, which is all thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. There's also a ghost girl that looks like a spawn of PT's Lisa.

Gameplay-wise, Allison Road seems to have more in common with Gone Home, but scary. As shown in the early gameplay video, players are tasked with exploring a house, examining objects and trying to uncover the mystery of what happened there.

According to creator Christian Kesler, the footage seen in this most recent video was created solely for the purpose of the trailer, so potential players can get a chance to see what kind of terror awaits them in the game without actually having anything spoiled.

Almost all the "core gameplay mechanics" are on display in the video, says Kesler, with the exception of the inventory system, which will be introduced in the future.

So when can you actually play Allison Road? The game's Steam Greenlightpage lists Q3 2016, but nothing is conclusive yet. Once it's out, you'll be able to play it on PC with or without Oculus Rift.

Kesler says he's also in touch with PlayStation and ID@Xbox to see if his team can bring Allison Road to PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the game's Facebook page for updates.

Silent Hills was officially cancelled in April, leaving horror fans everywhere distraught. Do you think Allison Road can fill that void?

Fans Are Making a Spiritual Successor to P.T.
Allison%20Road.JPG

When companies won’t make the kind of game you want to play, just ask other fans to do it. This is the case with Allison Road, a brand new horror game that appears to be heavily inspired by Silent Hills and P.T.
The creators describe it as such:
You will take on the role of the unnamed protagonist who wakes up one day without any recollection of prior events.
Over the course of five nights, it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against [dark entities] that are nested deep within the house, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am.
What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home?
If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not?

Allison Road Leaves Kickstarter; Team17 Will Handle Publishing
Allison Road, the first-person horror experience which people see as the spiritual replacement of the cancelled P.T.and Silent Hills games, is ditching Kickstarter.

Developer Lilith Ltd. announced they are leaving Kickstarter, as they have joined Team17. Team17 is an independant games publishing label, and is already working with Playtonic and Mouldy Toof to realise their games’ vision.

The developer expressed their excitement to work with Team17, as they will provide valuable resources and support.

“Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give.”

Allison Road is expected to release on PC in 2016.

Silent Hills Spiritual Successor Allison Road Canceled

house610.jpg

Those that were looking forward to Konami's Silent Hills just can't catch a break. Allison Road, a spiritual successor that was in development by London studio Lilith, Ltd., has announced production has ceased.

The news came via the game's official Twitter account, though information at this time is sparse. The tweet suggests that more information is coming soon.

The game was started with a single developer as a hobby project but blossomed into a larger team. Allison Road was on Kickstarter, with a team of 10 representing experience with a number of popular movies and games.

It was canceled after a short time thanks to a publishing deal with Team17. We've reached out to the company for more information on what happened to the project. We'll update should we receive a response.

For more, you can check out our previous coverage and the Kickstarter campaign page.

Our Take
After Konami canceled Silent Hills and yanked the P.T. demo from the PlayStation Store, many fans put their hopes in Allison Road. It's sad that the game won't be finished, and we're eager to learn just what happened here.

I hate to be that guy but I honestly don't care about Silent Hill.
I'm not aware of any "fans" that that series might've had.
If anything, Resident Evil>>>>>>>>>>>>.

When talkin about a legitimate Silent Hill fame. Especially what was shown on P.T. nah. Not at all. Especially with what Capcom been doing with the series.
