The backdrop was that I didn't want to go the ho house, but the f*ckin' doorman at my hotel had been dying to take me to hang out at the beach and holler at hoes. Asians generally want to show foreigners (who respect their culture) a good time, it gives them honor to show hospitality. So anyway he took me to this ho house, I told him to do his thing, I was good, but then they hooked me up with this BAD bish. She wasn't true Vietnamese, there's an indigenous tribe that lives in the mountains in Central Vietnam, I forgot the name. Anyway, I was talking (because I didn't want to pay for sex) with her, she told me her family sold her for money, and she was just there to support her fam. I told her it was a shame life had cut her those breaks, I thought she looked incredible, and that if she wanted to hang out to look me up, I'd take her out with no catches or sexual expectations in return. She went all on me and told how I looked good and that I could f*ck her without paying if I want, but she couldn't do it at the ho house. I was like , well let me talk to your boss. So we both go back downstairs, and I tell the boss can we go out? He was like "Why aren't you guys f*cking?" I was like that ain't what I wanted, but I would go out with her and she would come back tomorrow. The boss was stupefied, he was like "So she wants to leave with you without any money?" I was like He then proceeded to ask the girl the same question in her dialect, and she nodded Ol' boy damn near lost his mind . He pulled me to the side, he was like "listen, that girl right there, was not cheap, I gave her family $1000 up front, and I am supposed to send money every month to them. You can take her if she doesn't want to stay but you have to give me my investment back and she is yours" I was like "So you want me to buy this chick?" He was like "yes". I said I ain't about that traffickin' life. I gave ol girl a hug and kissed her on the cheek, she actually ran back upstairs crying. Needless to see it gives you a different perspective, a lot of hoes out there don't even wanna be hoes breh, they got no choice. Slavery is real still, at least in Asia

The western world has been setting moral standards since the enlightenment. It was them that ended the long history of slavery. They implemented democracy and free society.

We owe them a lot. More than what people on sites like these will admit.

I can guarantee that when it this new wave a slavery is brought down, It will be western faces, not African, Not South Asian, not Eastern European, and not East Asian, that will be responsible for its downfall.

I'm not saying it's easy, I have been in that situation with my refrigerator looking like that(minus the water. Couldn't afford it), but that is not slavery. When I study what black people went through, here some of the modern slavery stories, you are downplaying what they went/go through when you compare being able to up your situation to someone who is stuck which slavery is. When I was fukked up, I knew I could find a way out, and I did, slaves can't, and usual don't. That is scary. If I wanted to go somewhere I could, Slaves can't. If I wanted to fukk who I wanted to fukk, I could. Slaves can't. Its a difference.

I agree but, reading some slavery stories is crazy. T o know that you might die with someone controlling your life is just. I mean so many things we take for granted isn't given to them. I was reading one of the stories on the site I linked, and the guy said, he couldn't get up without asking. He couldn't sit without asking. He couldn't drink without asking. He couldn't use the bathroom without asking. When the people in his "village"(I think that what is was called) protested, their village was burned down, and he lost his family! He's alone now. One of the girls said she had to be up at 4 a.m. to do work in the fields while her master's kids would wake up later to go to school. She had garbage ass food. She was 15 when she was released.

To know this is happening in the world now, is fukked up, considering we are told its so much better then it used to be. That is half truth, its better for some but for a whole lot its still fukked up. We are blessed, even when we are struggling, because we have a choice to find a way to make our lives better somehow. All we have to do is be creative, and find others to work with us. It's not easy but, the choice is there. Being a slave there is no hope.

Of course there would be more slavery(considering that the people are doing it) because Asia is way bigger then Africa. The population for the Asian Continent is 4.3 billion people. Africa has 1.033 billion people. It's a big problem for both places though.

At some point in time, I think you have to stop being loyal to people who are hurting themselves, and others. I have always been on the Africa needs to grow thing since a kid, but slowly you see that they have to deal with their issues first before we try to get them to take over their own resources. We need to just deal with getting our selves to be the best, then if they are fixing their issues, then we can focus on them. The way it is now, I think it would be dumb to put our resources towards a place that have a lot of issues to deal with. Money won't solve that, it would make it worse because once more money comes into the area the corruption would be even worse then it is now, and more fighting for territory. It would be hell. Don't get me wrong, i think Africa needs to take control of its own resources but, its something that they need to do on their own for right now. This way they can stop the issues that will only get worse if they don't such as slavery. Its the only way they will be stable for the future.
