he needs to get tf out of Delaware asap. There are jobs that will hire him in major cities. shyt, get a room for a year. Pay off your debt then get a crib and continue to stack.

Idk if he'd be a good project manager but he might be decent at property management for a real estate company or just sticking to hotels in a better market.

unless he can get a big city remote job and stay there to live “cheaply”, he gotta get the fukk out and head to DC, NJ or NYC just to get his cash flow somewhat back to normal. Tons of boutique hotels here in the city and he can use the covid hotel story as a way to gain sympathy from a prospective employer to show that he stayed the course at a tough time

He can’t find affordable housing in Delaware?

His income disqualifies him from affordable housing for sure. Article doesn't mention what part of DE he lives but I'm assuming north near Wilmington or New Castle. In that case a decent 2 bedroom is going to run at least $1300+ after fees and utilities.

I say 2 bedrooms because he has daughters, which also means he's probably paying child support, part of their health insurance premiums, and their food/outings when they are with him. After taxes and making minimum payments on his Student Loans + Credit Cards he wouldn't have much left.

That’s not even a deep hole he in.

First, he needs to cut this “unfair” talk out. Life ain’t fair. Good things happen to bad ppl, and bad things happen to good ppl. The situation he’s in is mostly his doing. With that said, with a little hard work and planning, he can get back on track. It’s not too late.

Also, I hope he’s done with schooling. Last thing he needs to do is add more debt

So looks to me that probably has major spending and credit card use issues in his younger days, probably on child support, and going back to school that late in the game will hurt your pockets.

On the real all I see is someone who works in hospitality who has been hit hard by the pandemic. Him calling $70k, benefits, and all the amazing perks you get working for a hotel in Delaware just a “living wage” made me not even care about his situation anymore

Wtf you quit for. Never leave a job until you got your next job. Then you take all your PTO days and have a nice lil vacation before you start your new job. shyt I be on USAjobs, Indeed and LinkedIn at work when I’m bored. Just keeping my eye on the streets.

I hope not on your company's ip.
They can and will fire you for that.

Delaware has a lot of banking jobs. It may not be necessary to move if he has a decent resume
