Because it wasn't, put the tinfoil hats down. Already confirmed by the actual devs of the game why it was delayed. Releasing it on its anniversary where the big events are is not some conspiracy.

Phil and Sarah have lied plenty, they lied to you when they told you it would be 4 games.
Only a delusional stan would think that a company would buy exclusivity but then try to hide it when the same company has no problem with having exclusives and promoting it.
You are going against the actual game director's word and also thinking that Sony decided to hide this exclusive over Xbox that gave no definitive statement on why it was late.
We got one actual statement in all of this and it was the game director himself, I thought Xbox fans liked actual sources and not random journalists? Or are we changing our mind for this one?

And so I guess you forgot that the Sony Stans and China claim its the Series S and not a deal that Sony doesn't want exposed
